What MRSM is

MRSM is a marketplace. Independent artists publish artwork; you choose how it is applied to a product; we produce that product and deliver it to you.

Some listings are original physical works — paintings, crafts, accessories — sold as they are rather than produced to order. Where that is the case the listing says so.

Orders and made-to-order goods

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm the order.
• Almost everything on MRSM is made to your specification — your chosen design, position, size and product. Production begins after confirmation and cannot be undone.
• Because these goods are personalised, they cannot be returned for a change of mind. This does not affect your rights where an item arrives damaged, faulty, or materially different from what you ordered.
• If an item is faulty, contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photograph. We will reproduce or refund it.
• Prices are shown in Egyptian pounds and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Cash on delivery

• Where you choose cash on delivery, you agree to pay the full amount to the courier on receipt.
• We may send a confirmation message by WhatsApp before production begins. If we cannot confirm the order, it will not enter production.
• Repeatedly refusing delivery of confirmed cash-on-delivery orders may result in the option being withdrawn from your account.

Selling as an artist

• You keep the copyright in everything you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on MRSM, to reproduce it on the products a customer orders, and to use it in reasonable promotion of the marketplace.
• You may withdraw work from sale at any time. Orders already placed will still be produced and paid out.
• You warrant that you own the work, or have the rights to license it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
• Payouts are made against completed orders. Delivery must be complete and, for cash on delivery, payment collected before an amount becomes payable.
• We may remove work that breaches these terms, and will tell you why.

Portrait commissions

• A commission is an agreement between you and the artist, arranged through MRSM.
• You are responsible for having the right to use any photograph you submit.
• Prices, sizes and lead times are shown before you commit. You approve the result before it is produced and shipped.

Acceptable use

You may not upload or order:

• Work you do not have the rights to.
• Content that is unlawful, hateful, or that harasses or endangers a person.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any material depicting real violence against a person.
• Anything designed to impersonate a real person, brand or organisation.

Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• We may suspend an account for a breach of these terms, for fraud, or where required by law. Where we do, we will tell you the reason.
• You may delete your account at any time from inside the app. See the account deletion page for what that removes and what it keeps.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction.
